What is ScrapIt Pro?

    ScrapIt Pro is a simple to use yet very powerful database for storing anything you can Copy to the clipboard, drag & drop to/from the ScrapIt Pro windows (for System 7.5 users), or Import (PICT files and resources, Sounds, Text files, QuickTime™ movies and more). Once stored in a scrap file, you can copy the item, (or portions if the item is TEXT or PICT), at any time to be used in whatever application you need the data. ScrapIt Pro has many uses, here’s a list of some ideas:

    • Use it as a super notepad to store (and create) all those notes you can’t seem to keep track of.

    • Use it to store your favorite letterhead(s) for your letter writing.

    • How about storing all your favorite sounds or QuickTime™ movies in a scrap file.

    • Keep a clip-art library of all your favorite pictures for use in letters, page layout programs, etc.

    • Keep all your favorite recipes in a scrap file for instant access.

Some ScrapIt Pro Features:

• Open or create multiple Scrap Files
• Open ScrapBooks in the System Folder or
   in the ScrapIt Folder (System 7 only) by
   selecting from a hierarchical menu!
• Import MacPaint, PICT, PICT resources, TEXT,
   “snd” (Sound) files or QuickTime™ movies!
• Import Multiple Files (PICT, Sound and Paint)
   (This option available only with System 7)
• Export PICT, TEXT or “snd” files
• Cut, Copy and Paste QuickTime™ Movies!
• Find an occurrence of text in any TEXT scrap item
• Select portions of TEXT or PICT scrap items
• Play sounds and QuickTime™ movies!
• Name each scrap item in a file
• Reduce pictures to display in the available area or
  show it in full size with the ability to scroll to
  see all of the picture
• Move to different scrap items by:
  -  Using the scroll bar at the bottom of each window
  -  Choosing from a list of the names of all items
  -  Choosing from a thumbnail list of all items
  -  Searching for any characters in any TEXT item
  -  Typing the first characters of the item’s name
      if in List or Thumbnail mode (sorting by name)
• Print PICT and TEXT items
• Print a list (name or thumbnail) of all items in
   any scrap file
• Sort the list of scrap items by name or type
• Edit or create any text item
• Drag & Drop support
• Record sounds
• Speech Manager support (have your Mac speak any text items)
